Housing Collaborative Action Network

The strategic hub of the coalition

In the Housing Collaborative Action Network (CAN), our partners help advance our coalition’s mission: setting regional housing goals, shaping policy priorities, and using their expertise and professional connections to put our Action Plan to work across the county.

Why the Housing CAN exists

Bringing all the pieces together

Making progress on something as big as housing takes a lot of moving parts working together—local governments, housing agencies, developers, funders, service providers, labor unions, and more.

The Housing CAN is how those parts stay connected.

Participants share ideas around tables during a workshop, using worksheets and sticky notes.

80+

members from every district in Riverside County

Members bring the coalition a real-time view of what’s happening across the region—what communities are experiencing, what partners are working on, and any new needs they’re seeing. That includes everything from updates on housing policy and research to funding opportunities and Action Plan progress.

Together, Housing CAN members coordinate their work across the county housing system to make an impact on a massive scale.
